Educational Trip To War Memorial, Dharamsala

A Journey Of Beautiful Memories

The school organized a visit to The Cricket Stadium and War Memorial, Dharamsala

Today i.e 27 March 24 students of class 5th to class 8th went on EDUCATIONAL TRIP to War Memorial, Dharamsala .

The students excitedly boarded the school buses way to Dharamsala. On the way they sang songs and enjoyed the journey. They reached War Memorial.

*The War Memorial* is surrounded by the poetic pine forests of Dharamshala, leading to lush gardens through a quaint walkway.

Students were filled with the patriotic feeling .They took the knowledge of the Martyrs,freedom fighters.They spent sometime there and took refreshments They also enjoyed the swings over there.

It was an enjoyable and full of knowledge trip.They got the information about Stadium ,Freedom fighters.

Highlight of the day

There Students got a chance to interact with Col K.K.S Dadwal President of H.P State War Memorial Development Society , Dharamsala, who addressed the students ,told about the freedom history & War Memorial.He was glad to see the names of Houses on T-shirts of prominent personalities , specially Major Somnath Sharma . Students asked questions also.He was pleased, praised & Thanked that school took initiative to make students visit the War Memorial. Students thanked him.

At the end of the day the students got well versed with the history of War Memorial and were filled with patriotism.
