Viveka Foundations is a Co- Educational English Medium Sr. Sec., Day cum Day boarding and Residential School Affiliated to CBSE Vide Code No. 630139. It was founded in 2007 by visionaries Col. (RETD) S.S. RANA and his wife Mrs. KUSUM RANA an eminent educationist. Both have been nurturing a dream of a School with stress free environment where kids will just be kids and not rote machines, where creativity is nurtured. No boundaries for learning and trying new ideas and kids breathe in a free flowing, energized environment.
It was destined to be superlative, since profit was never a motive but passion was!!!
It is run under the aegis of Viveka Foundations Educational Society and Managed by Personnel with Army and purely an Educational Background.

Viveka Foundations was founded by visionaries Col S.S Rana (retd) & his wife Mrs Kusum Rana on 9th Dec 2005. Mrs Kusum Rana is an eminent Educationist with around 35 years of vast experience of working with CBSE affiliated Schools like KVs, Army , convent / public Schools at various places . She has been an administrator with various capacities as parents coordinator, resource person in Interactive ELT, Vice Principal and Principal. In 2006 , she founded a High Tech language lab(to teach communicative skills in English ) in Palampur It was the first ever of its kind in Himachal Pradesh Before the beginning of the first ever Academic Session she was training learners from various age groups like college /School students, teachers from various schools Govt & others and individuals from corporate sectors. Many students were benefitted for competitive exams and other platforms outside the state. In Viveka Foundations the stress is laid on the communicative skill program along with academic excellence. Mrs Kusum Rana has been awarded by various organizations for her outstanding services in the field of Education. Recently, Viveka Foundations has been conferred with the BEST SCHOOL IN ACADEMIC PERFORMANCE the most prestigious FAP NATIONAL AWARDS-2022,constituted by the Federation of Private Schools & associations of Punjab. Presently, Mrs Kusum Rana is offering her services to Viveka Foundations as Director of the school . Dr.Mousami Thapa is working as the Principal of the School.
