Tricolour in the Air, Pride in Every Heart
On 26 January 2026, Viveka Foundations Senior Secondary School celebrated the 77th Republic Day of India with great enthusiasm and a deep sense of patriotism. The programme commenced with the unfurling of the National Flag by the Founder, Director and Principal, Kusum Rana, along with the Principal, Manisha Aggarwal. Amidst loud cheers from students and staff, the Tricolour fluttered proudly in the air, followed by the National Anthem that resonated across the campus, filling everyone with pride, unity, and patriotic fervour.
The NCC cadets showcased exemplary discipline and dedication through a well-coordinated parade, marching with precision and pride. Students from all four houses—Aryabhatt, Chaitanya, Major Somnath Sharma, and Rabindranath Tagore—presented soulful patriotic songs that infused the atmosphere with energy and togetherness. This was followed by a speech competition in which students eloquently expressed the significance of Republic Day and reflected on the values enshrined in the Indian Constitution.
Adding a meaningful dimension to the celebration, the students of the boarding house presented a thoughtfully enacted skit that beautifully depicted the core constitutional values such as justice, liberty, equality, and fraternity. Through expressive dialogue and impactful performances, the skit conveyed the message of responsible citizenship and brought the spirit of the Constitution alive for everyone present.
The celebration served as a reminder of the sacrifices made by our freedom fighters and highlighted our responsibilities as citizens of the nation. In her address, Madam Kusum Rana shared inspiring thoughts on our duties towards the country, and the Principal, Mrs. Manisha Aggarwal, encouraged students with her patriotic message, emphasizing the importance of honesty, integrity, and dedication in building a strong nation.
The programme concluded with a vote of thanks, expressing heartfelt gratitude to all the participants, teachers, and staff members whose collective efforts made the Republic Day celebration meaningful and successful.
