Educational Visit to Harmony Day Care Center

The Psychology students of Classes XI and XII, accompanied by  Miss Arsha Rani (PGT Psychology cum Counselor), visited Harmony Day Care Center for Children with Disabilities, Dharamsala, as part of an educational visit. The visit provided students with an opportunity to observe and understand different disabilities through real-life interaction and practical exposure.

The teachers at the centre explained various conditions such as Down syndrome, ADHD, and Autism, along with the methods used to support learning and development. Students were introduced to specialised learning and sensory tools and were also given the opportunity to experience some of these tools themselves.

Students interacted with the children, observed vocational activities, and gained valuable insight into inclusive education and care practices. The visit was an enriching experience that helped students develop empathy, awareness, and a practical understanding beyond textbooks.
