The prestigious institution, Viveka Foundations Sr. Sec. School, Mansimbal, celebrated its 18th Annual Function – ‘Gangautsav’ on 16th October 2025 with great splendour, joy, and pride. The event stood as a magnificent reflection of India’s rich cultural heritage and the school’s unwavering commitment to holistic education.

 A Theme Rooted in Tradition and Spirit
This year’s celebration revolved around the special theme ‘Gangautsav’, symbolizing the purity, continuity, and life-giving spirit of the Ganga. Preparations had begun weeks in advance, with students pouring their creativity and dedication into every detail — and the result was a breathtakingly beautiful presentation. From Class VI to XII, every student participated with unmatched enthusiasm and energy, making the day truly memorable.

An Honourable Presence
The school had the proud privilege of welcoming Mrs. Netra Meti (I.A.S.), Sub-Divisional Magistrate, Palampur, as the Chief Guest of the occasion. Her gracious presence and encouraging words deeply inspired the students. The ceremony commenced with the lighting of the ceremonial lamp by the Chief Guest Ms. Netra Meti, the Chairman, Col. S.S. Rana, and the Founder Principal & Director Mrs. Kusum Rana & the school Principal, Mrs. Manisha Aggarwal, invoking divine blessings through a soulful rendition of Saraswati Vandana.

The school’s Principal, Mrs. Manisha Aggarwal, presented the Annual Report, highlighting the remarkable academic, sports, and co-curricular achievements of the students. The highlight of the day was the cultural extravaganza — a mesmerizing showcase of India’s unity in diversity under the concept ‘Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat’. The performances beautifully depicted the glorious journey of Maharashtra, Gujarat, and Rajasthan — from their majestic past to their struggles during colonial times, and their vibrant cultural renaissance today.

Students brought history to life through stirring performances on Ahilyabai Holkar, Savitri Bai Phule, and the valiant warriors of India, including an impressive portrayal of Prithviraj Chauhan. Traditional art forms such as Gondhal, Garba, and Tabla recitals added a rhythmic charm to the event, weaving together music, dance, and drama into an unforgettable experience.

 A Heartfelt Conclusion
The event concluded with warm words of appreciation from the School Management Committee, who congratulated the students and teachers for their dedication, discipline, and creative brilliance. Their efforts turned the annual function into a soulful celebration of knowledge, art, and patriotism.
