On 22nd April 2024, students from Viveka Foundations Senior Secondary School, Piyush Changra and Suryansh Katoch of Class 12th, had the opportunity to visit the Science Centre in Palampur. The visit was centered around an Ideathon contest hosted by the Science Centre Palampur, drawing participants from various schools.

The primary goal of the contest was for students to showcase innovative ideas that could be implemented and featured at the centre. Both Piyush and Suryansh presented their ideas eloquently through well-crafted PowerPoint presentations. Their presentations caught the attention of senior scientists from the Science Centre and IHBT Palampur, who posed insightful questions to deepen their understanding of the innovative concepts.

Piyush Changra's presentation focused on creating a space zone aimed at educating people about space exploration and related phenomena. His unique approach and presentation skills earned him a spot in the next zonal level of the competition.

Suryansh Katoch's presentation delved into the intricacies of laminar and turbulent flow, showcasing the differences and applications of each.

In conclusion, the Ideathon contest proved to be a valuable experience for the students, providing them with a platform to explore their innovative ideas and enhance their skills. Both Piyush and Suryansh's participation and selection for the next zonal level reflect their dedication and caliber in the field of science and innovation.
