On 26th September 2025, the students of Viveka Foundations Sr. Sec. School, Mansimbal presented a powerful and thought-provoking street play under the ‘Swachhta Hi Sewa Abhiyan’ at the Palampur Bus Stand and later at Khaira Chowk, Bhawarna. The awareness programme, themed ‘Swachhotsav’, began at 11:00 a.m. and immediately drew the attention of passengers, local residents, and shopkeepers in both locations.

 Guided by Ms. Neera Chauhan, teacher of Theatre and Music Department, the students conveyed the importance of cleanliness through their impactful performance. Subedar Major (Retd.) Kewal Rana, from the Physical Education Department, also guided the students in the right direction. The clear message of the play was: “If you ignore cleanliness, you will only invite diseases.”

 The students highlighted that cleanliness is the only safeguard against infectious diseases and every citizen must take it seriously. Their energetic slogans inspired the public to actively participate. They also spread awareness about various cleanliness initiatives launched by the Central Government.

 The enthusiastic effort of the students received wide appreciation from the public and dignitaries present. Among them were Mr. Nitesh Sharma, Officer, HRTC Palampur, Mr. Sumit Thakur, Treasurer, and Mr. Praveen Sharma, Director of the renowned ‘Pahadi Gapshap Channel’. All praised the commendable initiative of the students and emphasized that maintaining cleanliness is the prime duty of every citizen. They remarked that such efforts will surely lead the nation towards a brighter and healthier future.
